Anything but a Card Ink & Share Blog Hop

Welcome to this month's Ink & Share Blog Hop, we are a group of Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who come together once a month with a different theme and lot's of great ideas.  You may of hopped along from Jacqueline Bobeldijk-Schilder or you may be starting here, please don't forget to hop along to see everyone's awesome creations.

This month our theme was Anything but a card.  I decided to make a small hanging Christmas box.  Could be hung from your Christmas tree or turned into an advent calendar.

I've used Mossy Meadow as my base and Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper to decorate.  My fairy lights are stamped in Cherry Cobbler on to Very Vanilla Card stock.

My box is made using the Window Box Thinlits.  I've not made this box for ages so was high time it was pulled out from my
collection.

I've lined the inside bottom of the box with the same Designer Series Paper.  This is a good sized box with plenty of room.

I think these would make a great advent calendar  for kid's/or lucky adults.

September Stamp N Hop Holiday Catalogue

Welcome to this month's Stamp' N Hop Blog Hop.  We are a group of Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrators who get together once a month to inspire you.  This month the theme is the new Holiday Catalogue, very exciting.

I've been very naughty and gone for three stamp set's for this project.  The Making Christmas Bright Bundle and the Making Everyday Bright stamp set which co-ordinates with the Making Christmas Bright Bundle.  I've also added the Peaceful Noel stamp set.

One of the stamps from Peaceful Noel (the berry filler stamp) I've used as a Bokeh cheat effect, just using our Whisper White ink to stamp over Pool Party paper.  It's quick and easy and quite effective.

I love this DL size card base and thought it would work well with a long branch reaching across my card.

I have used some Subtle colours for this card but would look equally great with Brights.

Below I have made a smaller card using Soft Sea Foam card base and bright fairy lights.  More traditional colour's.  The cheat Bokeh was achieved using Whisper White Craft and Soft Sea Foam.  Start with the Soft Sea Foam.

Don't forget to hop along with all the talented Demonstrator's below.

Lovely as a Tree Stampin' Up! Classic

Welcome to this weeks Whizz-Bang Wednesday, quick, easy and stylish cards.

This week I made a Christmas card!  I didn't plan to make a Christmas card, it just happened.

I used the Lovely as a Tree stamp set which has been with Stampin' Up! for about 17 years.  It's a beautiful classic set.

Such an easy card to make, I'm very pleased with this one and think I  may use this design for sending my own cards this year.  You can easily change it around a bit, change the colours, add different colour rhinestones to the tree.

I've used crumb cake and Mossy Meadow as my colour theme, Mossy Meadow is my favourite green for Christmas and I'm so pleased it's back!

This is the perfect card for mass production for all you readers that send loads of Christmas cards.

Here's the video.
