Stampin’ Up! Dressed to Impress

I made this pretty card today for a lady who requested a catalogue.  Hopefully she will be coming to one of my classes, when we are up and running again.  It feels a long time since I got myself ready for a class!

I used the Dressed to Impress stamp set and Dies, also added the leaf dies from Birds and  More Dies.

Using the blends for a stripy background is a quick effect way to make a striking addition to your card.

Stampin Up! One Layer Card

Today’s card is a quick simple card, I’m calling it a one layer card although I like to work on loose 

 paper then stick to my card base, you can easily make this design straight to your card base.

 I’ve made my own circle mask with thin scrap paper and a circle die, stick this to your card or card layer with Washi tape then blend your choice of colour in the circle.  This is a simple technique that is very effective.

I used Coastal Cabana on one card & Misty Moonlight on the other, pretty rhinestones added which takes the one layer element away.

Stampin’ Up! Fathers Day Card

I always leave Fathers Day card’s to the last minute, not sure why?  This year I’ve made one with lots of time to spare.

This is for my Husband from my boys.

I love the stamp set and Dies, Geared Up Garage, great for mens cards.  This design could easily be adapted for a Birthday Card.

I’ve used Pool Party for my background stamping, with some silver embossing.  Dark Balmy Blue, Light Night of Navy, Pool Party and Smoky Slate  blenders were used for my car, I followed the Balmy Blue to the sentiments inside and on front of card.

Stampin’ Up! Fathers Day Card

Sweet Treat Bag Stampin’ Up!

Today’s project is a cute treat bag, made using a 6” x 6” piece of paper.

I’ve made one in one of the new in-colours, Misty Moonlight 
6” x 6” Designer Series Paper and the other using In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.

Great small treat bags I’ve made with a clear window, but you don’t need to add a window.  Think these would work well with Christmas or Halloween paper.

Of course there’s a Youtube video on how I made these, practice with scrap paper a few times, I was worried as there’s lots of scoring but the more you make the easier it gets, I made loads trying to get the perfect measurements.

5 7/8” x 6” piece of paper, score with small side at top.

Birds and Branches Stampin Up! Thank You Card

The new Birds and Branches stamp and die bundle is so pretty, I’ve made a lovely Thank You card, using the stamps and Dies.

I used the Stamparatus for my birds, this makes it so easy to make more than one card.

Stampin Up! Birds and Branches

Jar of Flowers Stampin Up Shaker Card

I’m a little in love with this new bundle, a beautiful stamp set with a Jam/Mason Jar punch.

 You can get cute shaped domes that fit perfectly into the punch hole.  These make a quick and easy shaker card.

The background paper is another new item DSP called Good Times, there are a load of great background patterns.

For days when your just not in the mood for colouring or maybe not enough time, how about this idea.  Ink blend some Whisper White paper and using Versamark and White Embossing powder stamp over your blending. Make a little tag and wind some bakers twine round and finished!
