July Stamp N Hop

Hello and welcome to July's Stamp N Hop blog hop.
This month our theme is Designer Series Paper!

I love the new 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, it comes in all the colour families and features spots and stripes, it is a card making staple!

 

 

 

I made four Thank You cards using the Narrow note cards and envelopes.  All the cards have a piece of the subtles 6 x 6 paper layered on the front.  I love the narrow cards and think they are perfect for Thank You cards.  The heron was stamped with Memento ink and I just touched the wings with Light Pool Party blender pen. I then covered the bird in some Wink of Stella for a subtle sparkle.  Linen Thread was used to attach the small tag and then I decorated with a sea weed die and starfish die from Under the Sea framelits.  Finished with some random sequins.

I then went on to make a small gift box to hold the cards, check out tomorrows blog for directions for box.
