Ink.Stamp.Share - March - Men

Hello, welcome to this months Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop. You may of hopped along from Pia’s lovely project or perhaps you started on my blog, you're very welcome.

The theme this month is Men, cards for men can sometimes be tricky so it's a great idea to hop along and get lot's of ideas from this months hop.

I'm using the Best Catch Bundle.

I've kept my card quite simple, using a Whisper White layer and the card base is Old Olive. This bundle has some lovely dies with it, the bull rush die is one of my favourites. Look on my video for how I coloured the bulrushes.

If making again I would of coloured all of my Happy Birthday dies. In real life it shows up clearer, the photos make it fade away!

I really enjoyed making this card and it came together quickly after the idea popped into my head! Believe me my ideas rarely work first time.

Quick Easy Card for a Man

Today I’ve made a really quick card for a man for when your’re in a hurry!

All you have to do is fussy cut and stick, how simple is that!

I made a short video to show how easy these are to make.

The wood effect paper is 6 x 6 and with one sheet you can cover the note card and the envelope flap which pulls the whole project together.

Stamping Around the World Blog Hop Catch of the Day

Welcome to this months Stamping Around the World Blog Hop. We are a small team who put together a free PDF file of tutorials once a month which you can receive with a qualifying order. These tutorial projects are not shared anywhere else! This month we also have some guest designers!

I used the Catch of the Day bundle for my tutorial and am showing another project using this great bundle.

I've made a Z Fold Card, the idea was for my fish to be jumping out the lake. I'm totally in love with the fish and the bulrush dies from this set. The bulrushes were cut from Soft Sea Foam and the tips were coloured with the Bronze Stampin Blend pen, easy and effective.

I cut some Whisper White for the back of my card and decorated with another Bulrush and the hat, this is where you could stamp another sentiment if you wish and write your message.
