Whizz-Bang Wednesday quick card

Welcome to this weeks Whizz-Bang Wednesday.  I'm using the Tropical Chic stamp set, again, I know but I do love this set!

This card is just cutting and stamping, I've finished it off with a few sequins!  Can't beat a bit of sparkle.

The base is an A4 sheet of thick Whisper White card stock, cut at 20cm and then scored at 10cm to make a DL size card base.

I have used Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist for my next two layers and finished off with Whisper White (this is my stamping layer.

Bermuda Bay               20.5cm x 9.5cm
Lemon Lime Twist       9 x 20cm
Whisper White             19.5 x 8.5cm

My inks used were Lemon Lime Twist, Garden Green and Mossy Meadow.

I have, as always, made a short video below.

Kre8tors August Blog Hop Water

Welcome to this months Blog Hop, we are a group of Stampin Up Demonstrators who join together once a month to spread inspiration. You may of joined me from   Sue McDonald lovely project or you may of come to my blog first, please hop along with all the talented demonstrators.

This month our theme is WATER  I have decided to use the  Sea of Textures bundle

I like the way this card turned out, my cute octopus has been covered in clear embossing powder so he has a wet sheen to him.
I used the baby wipe technique for my octopus, this is a super technique which I've only just started to play around with.

Please check out the short You Tube video below.

Stamp N Hop Masculine August Blog Hop

Image may contain: text

Welcome to this months Stamp 'N Hop blog hop.  We are all Stampin Up demonstrators from all around the world and we get together once a month.  This month our theme was Masculine cards.

Men's cards can be tricky so don't forget to hop along and see everyone's work and get lots of inspiration.

I've used the Bubble Over stamp set.

This was not a complicated card to make.  I stamped the small  stamps in a random pattern using various colours.  This is a super way to use small stamps for backgrounds.
I also used the bottles stamp using Lemon Lime Twist and Blueberry Bushel.  I used a bit too much glue on this one and I can see it behind the vellum.
I cut a smaller than my base layer piece of vellum to place over the stamped bottles.  I cut out the Celebrate from black and silver foil card stock.

I have made a short video below

Yesterday was a very hot sunny day and I had a stand at the Great East Mersea Art and more show.  We were in a sunny spot so had to keep moving our chairs away from the stand to keep in the shade!

Can you see my chair at the back with the pink cushion, we couldn't go any further without being in the car park!

I Sold all these pictures!

Just a few of my items made for the fair.

Had a good day.  If your thinking of becoming a demonstrator please think about joining my small team.  It's lots of fun and you can make loads of new friends in life and on-line!  Please contact me.
