Bubble Over Thank You cards

So considering I'm a card maker I have been very slow making my thank you cards for Christmas!  I decided to use the Bubble Over bundle and the new Narrow cards with envelopes.  I also used the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set for the stamped bows.

These are a great size for thank you cards, or 'just a note' cards.

If your thinking of taking advantage of  Sale a Bration , one of the free items available is some 12x12 paper which co-ordinates with the Bubbled Over Bundle, the bottle dies cut out the bottles on the paper, how cool is that.

Spend £45 between 3rd Jan and 31st of March and you can choose an item from the Sale a Bration catalogue.

I also have a how to make on Youtube

2018 Kre8tors BLOG HOP

I am so excited to welcome you to the first 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop, You are in for a treat as there are some very talented Independent Stampin Up Demonstrators waiting to inspire you!  This months theme is Occasions to celebrate the launch  of the 2018 Occasions catalogue  This catalogue is amazing, make sure to visit each of the links at the end of this post to see everyone's projects.

There are so many wonderful items to choose from in this catalogue, I went for two stamp sets for my first dip into blog hopping.  Picture Perfect Birthday and Birthday Wit

The envelope looks great with the candles stamped on the back.  I used a ruler to help keep straight.

I had so much fun making these items, a quick tip for you (if your making a few cards) is to get lots of your scrap paper and stamp the Fat Free, Carb Free and the candles etc over and over again in lots of different colours.  Then you can fussy cut them out and arrange on your card fronts.  I popped some of the words and one candle up with dimensionals.  The small pizza box is made using Bermuda Bay card stock.

I hope your were inspired, don't forget to look at all the other awesome projects made by the other demonstrators participating in this bog hop! Clear Gift Box

I have been deleting old photos and came across a picture I had forgotten to put on my blog.  Last November I went to the Stampin Up On Stage event in the UK, I made lots of swaps which I have aready shown but I also made a few special swaps for my team leaders, team  The Awesome Arrows.

I used the small clear treat boxes and the Pick a Pattern DSP, inside was a chocolate treat!

January's Card Class

This month we will be making cards for men.  Making men's cards can be a scary venture, but there's no need to worry, honest.

I have made these cards using some of the new stamps and dies from the Spring/summer occassions catalogue.

The wood textures dsp is perfect for a card for a man and adding the die cut bottle from the new Bubble Over bundle finishes it off perfectly.  I have also used the really cute Glitter and clear epoxy shapes, which give the bottle a chilled, wet look.

Another great stamp set is the Birthday Wit stamp set, I like to keep my men's card's simple with blues or bright colours, this card uses the new True Gentleman DSP and is a quick easy card to make

The last card is using a couple of stamp sets from the Annual catalogue, I love the dinosaurs and they are great for childrens cards.  I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest for this card created by Sue Mcdonald.  Great for an older guy!  I heat embossed the dinosaur with white embossing powder, the letters were all stamped and cut out and stuck on individual, this is quick to do if you have a pick up tool, top tip!

Three easy birthday cards

So this first day of 2018 I have made three easy birthday cards using DSP, this new 12 x 12 paper is really lovely, it has Wizards, Mermaids, Unicorns and dragons, some of the sides have some glitter elements on them too.

I have used the lovely Myths and Magic stamp set for one of the sentiments and the Magical Mermaid for the other.

These cards are very simple to make, especially the number card.  The DSP is so lovely you hardly need to add much else to make a super cards.
