Kre8tors Blog Hop Bye Bye Sale-A-Bration

Hello and welcome to the March Kre8tor's Blog Hop.  This month we are saying a fond farewell to Sale-A-Bration.  We all love and look forward to Sale-A-Bration and will be sad to see it go!

I am using the By the Bay stamp set for this challenge!

I have made simple stamping cards using the Notecards and Envelopes.  I then made a small box to put them in.  I love blue's so have made my cards blue but you can choose your favourite colour.

I have used Night of Navy for my card in above photo.

The other blue is Blueberry Bushel.

I cased the box measurements from a YouTube video from Pootles.  I have adjusted the measurements for my box.

Please watch my You Tube video below

Card Making for Beginners Simple Stamping

Stampin' Up! have recently challenged us Demonstrators to go back to simple stamping to help new card makers.  I thought I would give this a go and have made a couple of basic kits for a card making beginner and then I've made up four cards using this basic kit.

This bundle I have put together comes to £45 which means you would have a qualifying order for Sale-A-Bration.  You get to choose a free item from the Sale-A-Bration items.  This offer runs until the end of March 2019.  You would also receive a gift from me and a free PDF card making tutorial.

I hope this helps beginners.  I've been making cards for about four years now and have found it to be a wonderful hobby which  initially started to reduce stress from caring for my ASD Son and my Mum who has Alzheimer's.  My life is much calmer now and I am able to teach card making in classes and YouTube videos.

These are my four designs, I choose Blueberry Bushel as my Classic Stampin' Pad colour but you could choose your favourite colour, there are lot's to choose from!

I've also decorated the envelope flap, this always adds a nice touch and is different to shop brought cards.  You can of course also stamp a sentiment on the inside of your card.

What other designs can you come up with.  if you find you love making your own cards you can slowly build up your ink colours, just adding one or two more colours can really change the look of the cards.

I've made a (hopefully) helpful video, I have had huge problems editing this video so it may be a bit messy, so sorry just keep fast forwarding!

Lets Get Hopping Round 18 CASE Yourself

Hello and welcome to this months Let's Get Hopping Blog Hop, the theme is Case Yourself.  This turned out to be tricky for me as I looked through past posts trying to get some inspiration but eventually ended on a Pizza box that I made in April 2018!

Please hop along with everybody else and your sure to get lot's of inspiration, I always do.

Original Pizza Box

I decided to make a box with a wedding theme this box is for a gift for the Bride but could be changed up for a Bridesmaid gift box etc..

While making this box I wondered if I could use tissue paper in my embossing folder, so gave it a try, looks really pretty but is quite hard to photo!

Tissue paper would be a great extra to wrap your gift in, I crumpled it together in my video but looks better if you use like a gift wrap paper.

I decorated the inside of box with embossed panels as well, they were in Soft Sea Foam.

Check out my video below

Please hop along and see what Alicia Yap has made, I can't wait to check it out!
