Inspire. Create. Challenge #19 New In Colours

https://inspirecreatechallenges.blogspot.com/

I recently found this card making challenge and thought I should have a go, why not?

The challenge was using the new In-colours, you could use one, two, three or all of the colours.  I went for three of the colours

I love the new 6x6 paper packs, available 1st June from new catalogue!

I die cut the two bottles in two different colours, one in spots and the other in stripes, the straws, of course, had to be in stripes (reminds me of my childhood).  While I was making this card I thought it had a real nautical feel to it so decided to add some small boats to the bottles.
I fussy cut the sails and the tiny Pineapple Punch boat.  I then added Whisper White bubbles to the background and using the Layering Circles I added one large bubble which I stamped my sentiment in.

I added the fishing net to the bottom of the card, to continue the theme!

I'm pleased with this card and it came together

Card Class West Mersea

CARD CLASS
WEST MERSEA
ESSEX

I'm excited to share my new class available from now until the end of June.  I hold relaxed fun and friendly classes.

I have designed a card with sailing boats and fishing nets on a plain and simple background.  You will also be decorating a card box with a belly band and tag.  This would make a beautiful gift for someone special or a great item to keep for when you need a card, quickly!

We will be making four cards, all materials are supplied.  This is open to card making beginners and the experienced card maker.  I will be available to help you as much or as little as you need.

My class will be held in my small studio on Mersea Island, Essex, where I can teach 1-4 people, if you and a group of friends  (more than 4) are interested I can book a local hall.   Please contact me for booking.

I also hold a monthly card class where we make four different cards, one is normally a special fold or technique.  This is normally the first Monday and Tuesday of the month (depending on bank holidays) starts at 10-12 noon.  £9 per person please contact if interested.  I will be showing photos of card for my monthly class on June 1st.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Ink & Share May Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the May Ink & Share Blog Hop.  I'm a UK Stampin Up Demonstrator, I live on a small Island in Essex and once a month I love to join in with this awesome blog hop.  There are lots of very talented demonstrators from all around the world creating lots of beautiful items to inspire you, so please don't forget to hop along.

This month's theme is, (shhhh don't tell anyone) Sneak Peek.  We will be using items from the new Annual Catalogue which comes out in June.

I am showing you the Sea Textures bundle and paper.

This is the first time I tried this card fold, I think its a Tri fold shutter, it looked tricky but was actually very easy to achieve.
It also has a Wow factor and folds to fit into a normal A6 envelope!
The downside is I found it very hard to photo!

After using all my DSP I decided to make my own with the stamp set.

Cute Octopus Birthday card

I am still loving the Sea of Textures bundle so another card to show you!  I used Mint Macaron for the first card I made then wondered what it look like in a traditional red white and blue colour scheme?  So I made a small video using Real Red and Night of Navy.

I wanted the fish net background to add texture rather than stand out in my first card and I was very pleased with the result.

You could easily add a sentiment to the front on this card.
