Kre8tors May Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to this months Kre8tors Blog Hop.  My name is Linda, I live in the UK and I'm joining lots of other Stampin Up Demonstrators from all around the world to inspire you to create beautiful cards.

This month we are saying goodbye to our favourite items in the Occasions Catalogue.

I was very lucky to be chosen as a Display Stamper (in the UK) last November.  I was sent an exciting box of new goodies and had the scary job of inspiring other Demonstrators at our Onstage Local event with my cards, boxes and scrapbook pages!  I was given (amongst other items) the Magical Day stamp set.  Totally in love with this set, so sad to see it retire.

This was the first card I made, very simple with just card stock background, coloured unicorn and the die cut Celebrate.  I like this card but wanted to step it up!

My second card is very similar to the first, same layout but this time I used Whisper White for my background, I heat embossed the background with flowers with white embossing powder and then inked the edges with Flirty Flamingo ink.

Then I couldn't stop, I had to make more!  I made my own stencil for the knight card, I used the die from the Oh So Eclectic bundle and sponged Basic Grey round the edges.

The mermaid card was my most ambitious, not one but two stencils made using the leaf die from the Magical Day bundle and the bubbles from the Bubble Over bundle.  This was my least favourite card, my favourite is next.

I love this card and it was super simple to make, I used the Myths and Magic DSP for the background then used the blenders to colour my wizard in and that was basically finished!

I really enjoyed making this months cards I hope you enjoy them too.  Don't forget to hop along with the talented bunch of demo's.
