Wizz-bang Wednesday! Speedy card making

Hello, to my first Wizz-bang Wednesday, where I will be making speedy cards for when you need a card quickly but your still want it to be stylish.

I'm using Delightfully Detailed note cards and envelopes, these are great as they already have a watercolour effect printed on the front of the cards.

I stamped the cute boats, coloured them and then die cut.  They are simply glued on.
Finish with a sentiment of your choice!

Ink & Share June Blog Hop

Welcome to this months Ink & Share blog hop.  We are a group of Stampin Up Demonstrators who get together once a month to inspire you to create beautiful cards.  This months theme is summer and what it means to you!

Don't forget to hop along!

I live on a small island and every year there is a regatta with boats  stalls,  music, fair and fireworks, I have been going since I was a small child and it always feels like summer.

I'm using Lilypad Lake and the Under the Sea dies.

Four layers in one go!

I masked a rectangle on my whisper white layer with Scotch Painters tape and used a wavy die from Seasonal Layers Thinlit's to make a mask.  Starting from the top of the paper I sponged my ink (in small circle movements) over the mask, moving the mask down until the paper was filled.

I love the happy bunting on my card, I fussy cut these out then glued them to my card, when dry I stitched over with my sewing machine.  No sewing machine? You could leave as they are or make stitch marks with a pen.

On this bunting I used my sewing machine without the cotton for a different effect.

Sorry no tutorial video this month, I have been sorting and moving furniture in my craft area and have been unable to film! It's up and running as of today so watch out!

Was a bit of a problem as I do not have all these colours yet!
I used Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue and Petal Pink.

I used the Balmy Blue ink refill to make the waves, if you want to make more than one card here's a quick tip below, stick all your paper down then mask and ink in one go!

I pulled my sewing machine out and stitched the bunting after I glued them on.  Wait for it to dry first!!
