12 Day's of Christmas Cards Day 3

                   World Card Making Day

Hello, today we are decorating a frame from Ikea it's Christmas but not a card.

I had lot's of fun making this and I used the small house that I made in Day 1.

Everything used is from the Festive Farmhouse Suite, except the Ikea Frame and the die cut snowflakes.

This is a great suite and I've made a few projects using it.

My idea was for you to stick your photo in the frame, but could be used as a decorative object over Christmas.

I've made a video showing how I made this.

Hope you like this project and don't forget to come back on the 7th for another project!

12 Day's of Christmas Day 2

Day two of my 12 day's of Christmas.  I've made a cute penguin card today, using the Making Everyday Bright stamp and punch.

This is not a complicated card to make, maybe a tiny bit time consuming as not only have I coloured my penguins bobble hat's but I have covered them in Versa Mark Ink and heat embossed with clear heat embossing powder to give them a lovely shine.  Then you can punch them out and layer them behind your snow drifts!

I've used the Cherry Cobbler and Pool Party Blender pen's

My sentiment is taken from the Making Christmas Bright stamp set, you can buy this stamp set and the punch as a bundle and get 10% off.

Don't forget to watch my You Tube video and please subscribe, you don't want to miss out on the next 10 days!

12 Days of Christmas Day 1

Welcome to day one of my 12 day's of Christmas.  I'm starting this in October so it gives you time to order supplies and make them!

Today I'm making a small house that can be used in two future projects.

This is a very cute little house, I've used Festive Farmhouse to put this Christmas Home together.

The house in my You Tube video is a bit more basic than my finished house above.
Here's what I did extra, I stamped my house onto vellum and Cherry Cobbler card scraps, I then fussy cut the window shutters and carefully glued them to the vellum windows.  Using Daffodil Delight Blender I coloured the windows from the back of the vellum to look like the lights are on.  Once dry I fussy cut the window out and stuck to the Wood Textures house.

Stamping the House onto Wood Textures DSP
Stamp the door onto Cherry Cobbler, fussy cut and stick to Wood Textures House
Stamp the house onto to vellum colour the back of the windows and stick Cherry Cobbler
window shutters to vellum.

I have made a You Tube video for this project as bit time consuming, not too tricky though.  The more you make the quicker you get!

You can use whatever colours you like, maybe the colours of your own home, or the colours of your recipient's home.

Most of my Christmas projects will be much simpler and quicker but I wanted to start with a couple of wow projects so you have more time to start crafting!
