12 Days of Christmas card's Day 6

Hello, Day six already! Hope you're loving these blog posts and You Tube videos.

Today I'm showing you a cute card with a nice surprise twist to it.

I have no idea what this technique is called, I've seen cards made this way before but this is my own design. I went for a cartoon/naive style.

Use the truck die to cut the hole in the front of the card. You need to fussy cut round the truck so its smaller than the die cut hole.

I recently went to a Demonstrators Training Day with the Pinkies and I did a Spot Light table using the |Festive Farmhouse Suite. This was one of the most looked at card's on the day.

12 Day's of Christmas Day 5 Festive Farmhouse

Welcome to Day 5 of 12 Day's of Christmas!

Today I'm making a Double Z-Fold Card, using the Festive Farmhouse Bundle. This is an easy fold to make but looks very impressive! So impress your friends and family and have a go.

I started with Thick Whisper White as my card base, cut at
11" x 4 1/4
Score on the long side at 5 1/2" and 2 3/4"

Then cut another strip of paper at 11" x whatever depth you need, I had my depth at just above my fence die, I used Whisper White so it looked like snow. Score this at 5 1/2 and 2 3/4

I stamped the trees, truck and house onto Whisper White thick and coloured them in with Stampin Blends. They all have dies to cut out with.

12 Day's of Christmas Card's Day 4

Hello and welcome to Day 4 of my 12 Day's of Christmas Card's check out my blog and You Tube channel every other day for a new creation!

Today I'm making a mass production card, most card makers send lot's of Christmas cards, this is a lovely way to mass produce your cards, saving time for making your special Friends and Family card's.

I have used one stamp set for this card, my ink colour's are

Granny Apple Green
Real Red
Pool Party
Basic Grey
Memento Black
Stamp Set 'Hearts Come Home' found in the Annual Catalogue.

The Stamparatus help's with mass production card making.
I have changed my layers one is Basic Grey the other is Pool Party
you can adjust this card in so many ways, different colours, different sentiment, change the house stamps.

I have run my stamped image through the Subtle embossing folder on one of my card's but not on the other. It's so hard to see in the photo's but in real life it looks really great.
