Hello, my names Linda and I'm very pleased you are joining us on this months blog hop.
We are a group of Stampin Up Demonstrators from around the world and our aim is to inspire you to create!
This months theme is a Colour Challenge
This colour challenge was a challenge for me! When I started looking at my colours I was quickly aware that I only had two of these colours in inks! But I did have all the colours in paper form so I designed my card around this fact.
We have to use at least three of these colours, we can also use Basic Black, Whisper White or Metallics. Each card I made has three of the colours plus white or black.
For two of the cards I stamped the backgrounds using the Bubble Over Bundle the other two I die cut bottles, straws and bottle caps, which I then glued to my base layers. I kept the dies the same colour as the base layer. This gives lots of interest to the card but doesn't over power it.
Can you see I've made my own Designer Series Paper by stamping birthday sentiments over my chosen paper colour, this is a great tip for backgrounds, tone on tone looks great also.
